This didn’t happen overnight. Nor did it happen by chance. A practicing psychotherapist for many years, Paula is trained to be attuned to people’s psychological and emotional needs as well as their functional needs. She brings that cultivated, heart-felt, skill with her to every design project she undertakes.

Prior to starting her degree in Interior Design, Paula earned Masters Degrees in Clinical Social Work and Business Administration. She held Directorships of large behavioral health programs in a prestigious University Medical Center and for a large behavioral health system on the East Coast.

Paula was born in upstate New York to Bianca and Bogdan Halewski. Her mother was an aspiring interior decorator – with a dramatic, artistic flair. Her father attained a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Business Administration from New York University. Paula inherited her natural, artistic flair from her mother, and her logic, focus and organizational skills from her father. Currently, Paula lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughter.
