Decoration Services
When you opt for Decoration Services, we’ll work together to create a design concept that successfully captures the “look and feel” you want for your home. Each room will be carefully measured and drawn in a computer program to ensure the accuracy of all plans (space, lighting, furniture). If you have cherished furnishings you want to keep, we’ll incorporate them into the design right from the start. Everything from top to bottom –flooring, area rugs, furniture, color palette, window treatments, wall and ceiling treatments, lighting, art, and accessories – will either be hand-selected or custom-designed and made just for you.
Although Decoration Services don’t include major structural changes to your home, we may find that we need the services of electrical, refinishing, painting, and/or installation professionals to fully realize the design for your home. If so, I’ll recommend licensed and insured trade professionals, and will work closely with them to ensure we achieve the desired outcome. Paula Grace Designs, Inc. Decoration Services come with our unique Guaranteed Full Service Design Fee – so you’ll know what the full fee will be before you sign on the dotted line. No surprises.
Renovation Services
If you need to have major structural changes made to your home to your home in addition to the Decoration Services described above, then you will want to opt for Renovation Services. If this is the path you select, I will recommend the optimum combination of licensed and insured architects, landscape architects, and contractors for your project, and will work closely with these professionals to ensure we achieve the desired outcome for your home. As with Decoration Services, Paula Grace Designs, Inc. Renovation Services come with our unique Guaranteed Full Service Design Fee – so you’ll know what the full fee is going to be before you ever commit a penny.
Consultation Services
I also offer Consultation Services for those clients who need only a moderate level of assistance. If you select Consultation Services, we’ll work with what you currently have in your home – and I’ll identify changes you can make to better suit your needs. Most often, my clients opt for Consultation Services when they need help selecting the right paint palette or arranging furniture. These Consultations are billed by the hour, with a two hour minimum, and payment is due at the time service is rendered.
Purchasing Services
Purchasing Services form an integral part of both Decoration and Renovation Services. For most of the merchandise that will need to be acquired for your home, I will rely on manufacturers that I have carefully evaluated and selected, based on their commitment to quality — and their competitive pricing. I have taken the time to develop these crucial relationships in order to ensure the best pricing and customer service for you.
Over the years, I have met with many manufacturers’ representatives and visited a number of manufacturing facilities in order to develop these relationships. As a result, I’m able to pass on trade pricing to my customers, while adding only a small administrative fee. This favorable pricing (trade prices are often substantially lower than retail) enables you to accomplish more with your furnishings budget. The relationships I have cultivated with manufacturers can also play a key role in resolving problems that may arise (for example, if a product arrives that was damaged in transit).
Custom Furnishings
For that truly unique experience and appearance, I custom design furniture, fabrics, and area rugs for my clients, as well as on commission.
