FULL SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN

Design Concept

In this phase of the project, Paula Grace Designs, Inc. shall:

Determine your personal style preferences and functional requirements by conducting an initial design study. The study involves open discussion, review of current furnishings, accessories, and art; we will look at clippings you have cut illustrating your tastes and/or bring photos representing different styles for you to see; we will take careful measurements, and note the architectural influences; we will understand the psychological factors and other important nuances.

Provide illustrations and other materials to generally show the suggested interior design concept, to include furnishings, fabric, color palette, interior finishes, wall coverings, floor coverings, ceiling treatments, lighting treatments, and window treatments.

Prepare AutoCAD layouts showing the location of movable furnishings (a.k.a. space plan and furniture plan) and suggested permanent changes to the room(s) if applicable.

Prepare initial plans for recommended custom furniture, cabinet work, interior built-ins and other interior decorative details (a.k.a. Interior installations).

Interior Specifications and Purchasing Services

Paula Grace Designs, Inc. will hand select or specifically design furnishings and interior installations to complete your personal design concept.

We will prepare and submit for your approval Purchase Orders (PO). Each item on the PO will have a description, price, tax, and all shipping / handling and receiving / delivery charges (if applicable). There are no hidden fees.

Paula Grace Designs, Inc. has a conviction in recycling and giving to the community. When you engage in specifications and purchasing services, on your behalf, we will make the suitable furniture you no longer need available for reuse. We will transport upholstered furniture (e.g. sofas, love seats, ottomans, etc.) and case goods (e.g. end and coffee tables, dining furniture, chests, etc.) to a local charity and provide you with the receipt for tax purposes.

Project Management

Paula Grace Designs, Inc. will, as and where appropriate, provide referral to licensed and insured contractors and installers. We will meet with and/or schedule them for estimates and organize schedules to complete the job. We will also critique their performance during the course of their work.

CONSULTATION SERVICES

Consultation Services are the provision of design ideas and recommendations. It does not involve Full Service Interior Design – formal Design Concept and Interior Specification, Purchasing Services, or Project Management. Color consultations and re-working existing furnishings are the most common consultations but any design question is welcomed.
